Bespoke Air Max 1 - Travis Scott

With the upcoming Air Max 1’s from Travis Scott, we wanted to combine an older release on the Air Max 1.

We want to introduce you to our new Air Max 1 - Travis Scott. In this blog, we will give you an insight into our process to this shoe.

The Nike SB Dunk x Travis Scott was our inspiration for our latest model. We started sketching on our iPad and came up with this design.

To match the design with the bandana, we created our own file to screen print it into the denim. In Adobe Illustrator we started to draw the pattern in a different layer. We used the Cactus Jack skateboard for the best pattern.

When the pattern was finished, we were able to screen print this on the denim.

It took around two weeks for it to be ready. We could finally start on this shoe.

Before we can begin on the shoe we need to select the right fabrics. We used fabrics such as nubuck, leather, and an old scarf fabric.

With the selected fabrics we could finally start with the shoe. In the picture below you can see us working on our shoes.

As you can see, the upper from the shoe is finished. Now it is time for one of the final steps: lasting. We use this to bring the shoe in shape. When it’s in shape, we can glue it to the sole, and the shoe is finished.

The shoe was finished and it was time to shoot some content. We wanted to bring the shoe to life, so we went to Hortus botanicus in Amsterdam. Here it was possible to create a territory in the style of Cactus Jack. Furthermore, we wanted to bring the shoe in motion.
