Shoemaking Course April 2021

During this course Rick and Vince made both an Air Jordan 1 High. Rick made a Chicago x Union Jordan 1 and Vince made an Amsterdam inspired Jordan 1. The sketches are shown above.

Rick is now gluing the patterns on to each other. This is an important step before you stitch anything together on the sewing machine. By gluing the patterns on to each other, they will not move.

During the course we guide you with the sewing machine. Vince had no experience on the sewing machine, so we did some exercises first. We also set the sewing machine on the slowest setting so you can take your time.

First patterns are stitched and all other patterns are cut out. It was time to embroider all the details and finish the shoes.

The shoes are finished and it was time to get the shoe last out of the shoe. One of the most satisfying things to do.
