In collaboration with Anybodies, we bring a custom Air Force 1 to the metaverse. We will make 65 custom Air Force 1’s. The loyal customers from Anybodies will get the shoes fysical. For this project we will not make a bespoke. We will customize an Air Force 1. We do this by changing the swoosh, the tongue, extra label and a little bit of paint. The loyal customers from Anybodies will also get a special shoebox.
In this blog we take you through the preparation process. When the preparations are ready and all the shoes are in, this blog will be updated. But for now, we start with designing the shoe.
Above you can see the design we made on ProCreate. We used NikeByYou to get the donor as we want. We change the swoosh for a more ‘digital’ vibe, the tongue will be remade in yellow, the laceholder will have the logo of Anybodies, the label on the heel will contain the shoe number and we will stencil the arrow on the mudguard and the AIR on the midsole. Also, the midsole stitching will be restitched in purple.
With a special shoebox, we make the package complete. We used the colors from Anybodies for the shoebox. To cover the shoebox we use the yellow sleeve. The logo of Anybodies is embossed. In the picture below the logo is yellow, for the final product, this will be black.
The inlay is made of plexiglass and there is the ‘GENESIS COLLECTION’ on printed.
Finally for the shoebox, there will be a special tissue paper. This will protect the shoes from any sratches or others.
Lets get to the details of the shoes. We made a special laceholder. This laceholder is made out of metal. The logo from anybodies is incorporated in to the laceholder.
We also add some yellow eyeleds.
For the labels on the shoe we created multiple labels. Every label has there own specific number.
