This year at Sneakerness we are going to organize a design contest. You can make your own designed shoes a reality! With a choice of the five given models (Air Max 1, Air Jordan 1, SB Dunk, Asics Gel Lyte 3 and New Balance 1500) you can get started. At the bottom of this page you will find the overview of the fabrics that you can use in your design.

Conditions an rules of the game:

You need to follow @VIJZ and @Sneakerness on instagram.
You have to repost your created design in your story with the hashtag: #VIJZDesigncontest. Also you have to tag us in your story.
You must be present at Sneakerness and physically hand in your design or email it to us there.
If you would like to incorporate details into your design, you can. At our place on Sneakerness you have a session of 10 minutes where you can finish your design.
It is not allowed to use logo's or prints from other brands.

Design contest in details
We have five different models available. Click here to download your choice. In this template you can make your own shoe. When Sneakerness is over, we will put all the sketches made againt each other via a tournament. This leaves 1 winner. You can vote via the Instagram stories of VIJZ. So make sure that you get as many votes as possible for your own design. We will tag you, in the story in question, so that you can share it on your own story.

Tips & Tricks:
When we make a design, we do it via the iPad. The app we use for this is called ProCreate. We will use this app on Sneakerness. You can import those templates in ProCreate (use different layers). Another way can be via paint or just print it out and draw. Click here to see how.

Also bring your own design to make the most of your time you get. When you want to add details, take those kinds of pictures with you as well.

How did the competition go? At the bottom of this page, you can see all designs that are made on sneakiness. If you click on the image, a lightbox will appear. For the competition, we randomly put all the sketches in 8 groups, as shown below.
