Scavenger Hunt
We are launching an online Scavenger Hunt. You need to browse through multiple pages and find your way to the final page. On this final page, you need to fill in your contact information and other acquired information. We will contact the lucky winner on the 10th of December 2021.
When you jump to one of the locked pages, you need to fill in the required password. All passwords are in lower case characters.
You can win an amazing price: a shoemaking course or your own designed bespoke, made by our shoe designer Sam.

**To participate in this Scavenger Hunt, you need to remember your answers and fill them in at the last step. This way we can validate your progress and answers.
The scavenger hunt has successfully ended. For new visitors or participants, we will show the scavenger hunt how it’s made of. The first clue was in this blog, the participants needed to find the hidden hyperlink. It was hidden in the word ‘amazing’. Clicking on the link https://www.vijzbespokes.com/treasure-hunt would have brought you to a locked page. The password was a combination of all bold letters. The right password was: vanijzendoorn. When filling in this password, you would see the first clue: “When did Sam start his journey?”
To find the answer for the first clue, you should go to Info > Our Story and search for the underlined word. In this case, it was 2013. When clicking on this year, you go to a new locked page. Over here you fill in ‘2013’ and go to the next clue: “Which color do all of the shoe lasts have?” P.S. go to our Instagram and find the picture where we show our shoe lasts collection.
When you found our post on Instagram, there was a link in the description: Www.vijzbespokes.com/scavenger-hunt-shoelast. This page was also locked by the password: “green.” When logged in, you would see the new clue: What was the last silhouette created during our shoemaking courses? P.S. By silhouette we mean the model like Air Force 1 or Air Max 1.
For the answer, you needed to go to Info > Courses and scroll to the bottom. At the bottom of this page, you will find the recent work of our students. When clicking on the most recent image, you will be redirected to a new clue: You have to subscribe to our newsletter for the next clue. If you are already subscribed, search in your latest newsletter. And if you just subscribed, you will receive an e-mail in a few minutes.
We send a few days before we started this scavenger hunt a newsletter to our subscribers. If you just subscribed you would have got the same hint. In the newsletter, we talked about this upcoming scavenger hunt and about the previous treasure hunt we held in Amsterdam. By clicking on the previous blog, the word Amsterdam was underlined. By clicking on this word will redirect you to the clue: How many models are up for sale at this moment?
The answer could be found at Shop > Bespokes and scroll to the bottom. There was a hyperlink where you could fill in the answer. At the time of the scavenger hunt, there were three models up for sale. So the password was: “3”. When you filled in the password, the new clue arrived: With whom did VIJZ do its last collaboration?
You need to go to Portfolio > Collaborations and click on the most recent bespoke. At the time of making this scavenger hunt, it was the collaboration with McDonald’s. When you clicked on the name in the portfolio, you got redirected to the locked page. The right answer here was: “mcdonald’s”. When you filled in the correct answer, the new clue appeared: Maybe you noticed our newest feature: Design Sessions. If you book a session, we help you to design your own One Of One Bespoke. But how long does a Design Session last?
To find the design session you should go to Shop > Appointments. At the bottom of this page, there was a link to fill in the right answer: “90”. The next clue is: If you book a design session, which program will we be using to sketch the sneaker?
For the answer, you navigate to Info > Start Designing. On this page, we show you the design possibilities that you can use. At the word ProCreate there was a hyperlink. By clicking on this link, you will be navigated to one of the latest locked pages. After filling in the right answer: “procreate” the new clue appeared: You’re almost there! For the final step, you need to find a hidden QR code somewhere on www.vijzbespokes.com. If you can’t scan the QR code, because you only have one device. You can click on the QR code for the link.
To find the hidden QR-code, you should have navigated to Info > WikiVIJZ > Material Description. At the bottom of this blog, there was the QR-code. By clicking this code, you could fill in your info and which price you want: Bespoke or Course.
At the end of this scavenger hunt, there were 367 qualified participants. With a random name selector we selected the winner of this scavenger hunt. To see how the raffle went, click here.
